Abruzzo Italy Countryside. The bridge in this painting is the A25 highway (autostrada) as seen from a regional train while traveling from Rome towards the east coast of Italy, through Abruzzo, to Pescara on the Adriatic Sea. It looks like an aquaduct to many people. The autostrada faded off into the far distance, many miles away. I took the original photo for this painting through an open window on a regional train.
Original is 16x20 on stretched canvas.
DONNA PROCTOR FINE ART * * * * * * * * Fine art painter who also loves to shoot photography of wild life, nature and sometimes just things ... I am inspired by the beauty I see in every day life. My work is of the moment. What it was yesterday, what it is today and what it will be tomorrow is just a marker en-route to artistic self-expression. Personal expression is a life-long journey of joy, doubt, disappointment, celebration, challenges and so... With each new painting or photograph artists always feel like they could have done more, could have done it better but that's what drives us forward and lifts us to higher levels and, the best we can do is just leave behind our own personal signatures...

This is a beautiful landscape. It must be amazing to see out the train window.
