Description

I am one of those people who must remind herself while watching nature shows, that images such as this are natural. My first reaction is to cover or close my eyes because I feel compassion for the prey. I usually force myself to open my eyes and watch because... the predator is also doing what it does best to survive - exactly the way mother nature intended.

This cougar was caught on camera while bringing an egret down for the kill.
