About Donna Proctor
DONNA PROCTOR FINE ART * * * * * * * * Fine art painter who also loves to shoot photography of wild life, nature and sometimes just things ... I am inspired by the beauty I see in every day life. My work is of the moment. What it was yesterday, what it is today and what it will be tomorrow is just a marker en-route to artistic self-expression. Personal expression is a life-long journey of joy, doubt, disappointment, celebration, challenges and so... With each new painting or photograph artists always feel like they could have done more, could have done it better but that's what drives us forward and lifts us to higher levels and, the best we can do is just leave behind our own personal signatures...

Hi Bob, I'm way overdue on this note, but Thank You for all of your encouragement re's my photography and paintings - Thank you a gazillion times over! :) Jake, thank you! I'm not sure what a "spur" is, but it's obvious that you know, and I'm guessing it's that little thingy protuding from his shoulder area... I appreciate the comment and information :)

This is a very interesting photo Donna of a bird I haven't seen before. The yellow and red against the blue ( the primary colors) takes this study right out of the bird's natural environment and gives us a clear picture of its unique colorful markings.... almost like it's saying I should be a painting shouldn't I.. The primary colors are saying to me.. make this into an interesting casual characterized, stylized or even a reference point for an imaginative bird drawing or painting for a kid's room.... the photo is idea stimulating... :)
