River of Dreams is that deep place within the subconscious mind... balance from both Yin and Yang (each has their own balance) is present...

In this painting I refer to it as "the river of dreams" because the painting was based on a dream. The dream consisted of what you see - four faces facing each direction inside a flowing river where the current of water narrowed. I found myself facing all directions with the Yin Yang deeply entrenched within my subconscious ... I could both see and feel it and took it as a sign to find balance from the chaos coming at me from all directions ...
