Description
Beautiful blue sky as far as the eye can see and it was a fantastic background for these lovely young snowy egrets.
When I saw these juvenile snowy egrets my first reaction was to laugh ... Anthropomorphically speaking, I thought the top egret looked like it's infatuated with the other and trying to get attention, while the egret below looks as if it couldn't care less!
Beautiful blue sky as far as the eye can see and it was a fantastic background for these lovely young snowy egrets. One of the best ways to determine whether snowy egrets are adults or juveniles is to look at their legs - adults have black beaks and legs; in their youth they have grey legs and dull beaks.
Snowy egrets are one of the most elegant of the herons. The slender adult snowy egret sets off immaculate white plumage with black legs and brilliant yellow feet.
