Description
The Vintage Roman Colosseum is where Gladiators once lived. They were usually slaves, prisoners of war or condemned criminals, and usually men. The attendees were rich and poor, and the Emperor himself, loved to attend. These contests were bloodbaths since the grounds were generally soaked in blood!
The Roman Colosseum was originally known as the Flavian Amphitheatre. During the middle ages it became known as the "Coliseum," but, today in Italy it's usually referred to as "il Colosseo." il Colosseo is an enormous, practical design ellipse structure that was commissioned by Emperor Vespasian in AD 72 and completed by Titus, his son, around AD 80.
It's located just east of the Roman Forum. It has 80 arched entrances which could easily allow for quick access to approximately 55,000 guests or commonly referred to as spectators. The spectators were seated according to their social standing or ranking.

I can hear the roar of the crowds! Great perspective!
Donna Proctor replied:
Edwards, thanks! You can really hear the roars while roaming around inside . . . quite an achievement back in that day!
